"just saying"

23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Of what can it hurt to be a witness for the Law of God before men?

Thats who Christ was before all of us. Thats whom I proclaimed before men this past weekend when I had a chance. But, as I look at that scenario... I ponder how much more can I be a better witness in the future?

It really doesn't take a whole lot... it just takes a ever slight correction. It doesn't have to be harsh, full of criticism. For starters... it could just be sharing SOME Truth. People are so resistant to God to begin with- I don't think that we can feed them whole food when they are still nursing.

"Just saying"

Eyes of lust. Thirst for alcohol. Reactions in judgement.

How do I combat these of which God has revealed to me through my thought, word and deed.

Character of the New Man

Colossians3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

All the sin that I cause and the sin around me, is spread with such venosity throughout. So, how do we combat this viral sickness that is shared everyday? By sharing His Truth... standing firmly.... not in haste- but in Love. In tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.

We gotta start to share His Truth if we believe in it- just saying. Sharing a little Truth- just saying. By "just saying"... you are standing behind the gospel of Jesus and defending. If they are not receptive... let them be. By sharing... you are only sowing seeds whom God can nourish and feed.
